Sydney Scout (she/her) was born and raised on Dena’ina Lands in Anchorage. After nine years away, she returned home in late 2021 and joined AKPIRG’s Board in early 2022.

Sydney has spent most of the past decade doing political, labor, and climate organizing work with groups including the Working Families Party, Campaign Workers Guild, and Our Climate.

Outside of work, she aims to spend as much time as possible outside with her dog, Evie. She also loves to craft with friends, read sci-fi, and listen to documentary podcasts - please send recommendations her way!
