EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Veri joined the AKPIRG team in September 2018 to serve as the Executive Director. Their background is in various advocacy areas, most recently Alaska Native language revitalization and maintenance.

Currently, Veri serves as the Consumer Advocacy representative on the Railbelt Reliability Council’s Implementation Committee. In addition, they are one of the founders of the Alaskan Artists for a Just Transition, and a former board member of the Consumer Federation of America.
